Amber Corwin is one of America's top senior ladies. She began skating at the age of
5 and her goals are to make a Olympic and World team. She recently won a silver
medal at the Four Continents Cup in Halifax and placed 6th at the 1999 US Nationals.
Amber is a very mature
artist on the ice and has excellent jumping ability. At the 1998 US Nationals she
was the only ladies competitor to complete a triple-triple combination in the short
program. Amber loves the excitement of competition ,and her favorite international
competition has always been the Vienna Cup. Her current goal is to make the 2002 Olympic
Team.
Off the ice, Amber is a
typical southern California girl. She loves to walk on the beach, rollerblade, go
shopping, and hang out with her friends. Amber also attends college full time, and is
majoring in psychology.
